Brody's Militia-Tribute Through Butchery EP

What another great find for $1.  9 tracks of excellent covers, the likes of Rupture,Antiseen,Devo,Sockeye, Circle Jerks,Attitude Adjustment,Hellnation, and Black Sabbath plus another band from japan not to sure on there name. I originally had this album on red vinyl but sold it. So I'm glad I picked it up again and only for a dollar. So side A starts out with a Rupture cover not band never heard the original. Next is an Antiseen cover listened to these guys before but never Ugly American. You have to love any Devo and Circle Jerks cover. Even without the Keith Morris Vocals "World Up My Ass" is an awesome cover. Side B never heard any of these tracks by the original bands besides the Black Sabbath-Trashed. All the tracks are done very well, glad I know of these bands now so I check them all out. With that said good find from the $1 Record Bin.

Dumpster Juice-S/T

So another trip to the record store today I picked up 3 new records. Here's the first one, the band is called Dumpster Juice and by reading the back I picked this one up because there from Minnesota plus it made me think of Jungle Juice a band from AZ. So why not plus the cover is a skeleton pissing on a dumpster while he's getting electricuted by lightning. So this record has a total of 3 songs on it. 2 on the A side and 1 on the B side. Seeing that this was put out in 1994 you can tell by the sound of the music it has a real bar band type of sound that you could only really enjoy if you were there throwing a couple of cold ones back. The second track on there is about this guy likes to drink a lot and needs to go to rehab but of course he doesn't want to. Other then that it's a very boring record to listen to maybe if I was older it would be better but unfortunetly I'm not so I don't recommend  buying anything of theirs hints the fact this was only $1 but I am glad I got it since the band is from Minnesota and you should support your scene even if you were 8 when it came out. Also colored vinyl, can't go wrong with that

Sodomized By Marcia Brady-100% Hardcore! Not For Wimps!

So with A name like that how could I not buy it. Also with song titles like "Lick My Boots, Greg!", "Peter, Peter, Shit Eater.", "No Butt Lube For You".  How could you go wrong with this record. Well I brought it home and put it on the record player and looked and read the sleeve and to find out it's a cover album of other Florida bands plus 1 original track from S.B.M.B.  The only song I knew was a cover of Death-mutilation. Other then that all the songs are pretty good not a big fan of the S.B.M.B song but whatever. Apparently this is a 1 man band, I would have never thought that but with a name like that it makes sense now that one dude came up with this.  I probably wont check out the other bands that the songs original are but I did find this on grey wax so if all else fails and I don't want it anymore I'll just put it in the oven and make a bowl out of it. It is a sweet insert of a family picture of the Brady Bunch and wanted adds for the back cover. All in all I'm glad I only paid a dollar for it.

Birdflesh/The Kill

Numbero Uno
So I'll explain my local record store has a $1 dollar bin. So every week I'll post about what record I buy/find. So I found Birdflesh/The Kill Split on R.S.R. from Germany. I'm lucky enough to find this on orange wax. So I've heard of Birdflesh before I got a cassette of theres in a trade but never listened to it. So I put this on the record player Birdflesh side first, not bad at all 4 tracks of Grind/Power Violence with some sweet keyboard parts and spastic vocals all in all not a band 4 tracks I would defenitily purchase another record of theres and maybe pay more then a dollar for it. Plus theres a Kitty on the cover with a fuse coming out of it's ass. The Kill are a band from Australia so that got me kinda happy about listening to this, since I love Australia I was hoping this would be another gem from down under a total of 6 fast blast beat tracks with some growly vocals and shrieks over the top of this heavy music. Plus there side of the cover is a good painting that someone did for them All in all worth the $1 probably wouldn't buy anything from The Kill but I'm glad I found out about them. Till next time.....
