Hunger Pains/Four Hundred Miles of Shit
Well the reason I picked this up is because it has a screenprinted cloth cover never heard of either of these bands never knew it was a split 7 inch until after I listened to it a couple times there's no markings on the center labels except for 400 and HP and the paper that came in the inside of the record was for some reason stuck together so I can't figure out what label put this out or any info on either of the bands. So lets start out on the Hunger Pains side of the record very thrash style going on here very good guitar riffs over very spastic vocals really reminds me of a Profane Records release kinda thrashy and kinda crusty but in a good way. So by looking at the insert looks like Hunger pains has 3 songs "Contempt""Breathe Like Me" and "Life Bearer" with a sweet logo and 2 grimreapers dressed in black pulling a lady dressed in white in a casket. So flip over to Four Hundred Miles of Shit side there side of the screened cover reads "Assassin of Youth Marihuana" "Feeding the God Moloch", 400 miles side has 4 tracks of pretty much the same style of music which makes this an amazing split 7 inch very fast and heavy riffs with the gruff vocals kinda sounds like an angry lady growling at sometimes but it's def. a dude. By looking at the artwork for there side there is pot leaves all over it so it might be safe to assume they smoke the reefer. Not a bad record to listen to. Not pictured is the 400 side.
Bring That Shit/Dios Mio
Really Extreme Noise $1 I hoped that I would never see one of my records that I put out in the dollar section. Well insted of reviewing this I tell you more about it. Well this is my first vinyl release between newly formed Bring That Shit featuring a member of In Defence and on vocals is the ex singer of Pandamonium. Which were a female fronted hardcore band from Minneapolis. So from the ashes of that and the singer of In Defence formed Bring That Shit. On the other side is Dios Mio formed in Eau Claire Wisconsin and then some went to the University of Minnesota-Duluth so technically they became local with a couple demo cassettes and Cd-r's under there belt. It was time to put them trax on wax. So with that said this was my first split release with Give Praise Records. Couldn't ask for a better label to co-release a record with. So there was suppose to be 500 records pressed but they made a mistake at the pressing plant we ended up getting 544 copies which is a super bonus. So 100 of them are on yellow 444 on black. With all that said this record is Out Of Print I don't think that any distro carries them anymore so you'll have to hunt for one of these if you truly want one and you will..
