Masked Intruder/The Turkletons

Masked Intruder/The Turkletons Split 7 inch

Well here is an amazing pop punk release.  MASKED INTRUDER hail from Milwaukee,WI and play a really catchy pop punk.  It’s like if THE BRIEFS and DILLINGER 4 and a child and then these 4 dudes with masks came out and this is how they would play.  The identity of all the band is mysterious they all wear color coded masks.  Blue is the singer, Green is on guitar, Yellow is on Bass and Red plays drums.  Total mystery on who they are but on this release you get 3 brand new tracks of catchy pop punk that will get you hooked real fast.  Flip this bad boy over and you get THE TURKLETONS who sound very similar to MASKED INTRUDER but not so much towards the punk side of things like THE BRIEFS more of OFF WITH THEIR HEADS style pop punk more on the poppy side of things.  Plus they are from Minneapolis where everyone should know that’s where a lot of the best pop punk bands come out of. With all that said A+ release here from my friends at RAD GIRLFRIEND RECORDS. (Download card comes with this release) (Bezerker)

Pharaoh-This House Is Doomed

Pharaoh-This House Is Doomed 7’
Finally a new release from these hardcore hooligans from New Jersey.  It’s been a couple of  years since there last recording and PHAROAH has not lost there place as one of the up and coming hardcore/doom acts.  For this new release  you get 2 brand new songs.  “This House is Doomed” and “Waste”.  This is there heaviest stuff to date “This House is Doomed” clocks in at almost 7 minutes long and is epic it will keep you listening the whole entire time so heavy you wont want to get up.  “Waste” is the shorter of the two songs I wouldn’t say it’s as heavy as the last track but still is heavy enough you’ll still enjoy it. For fans of INTEGRITY, NORTHLESS and PULLING TEETH. (Bezerker)

North Lincoln-Art of The Underground SS#18

Well never heard of this band and thought to myself damn if they're part of the Art of the Underground Series they must be good and for the most part I was correct.  So lets start off with the A side which is titled "In A Year of Years" Really gruffy vocals with a signature pop punk sound with gritty guitar and singing about how he is feeling.  All in all a very good A side to a record lovin the pop punk sounds that are coming out of my record player.  Time to flip this bad boy over for the B-Side titled "Blame"
starts off with the distorted guitar  and some very Springsteen vocals not bad but I can see why this is the b-Side of the record. Very slow paced vocals and music but  not to bad. Would I go buy one of there other release? Probably not but if it was a dollar for sure.

Total Trash-Cassette Demo

Total Trash-S/T (Demo Cassette)

From the streets of Minneapolis , MN comes the new face of female-fronted garage punk.  Here are 6 tracks of pure gold with song titles such as  “Lesbian Blowjob” and “Biblical Names” where basically it’s a heavy guitar riff with names from the bible shouted out loud. How could this get any better .  Total Trash has a member of other local band BRAIN TUMORS. With a live show that consists of the singer walking back and forth screaming in your face and snotty guitar riffs.  This cassette is a nice pink cassette with clear sticker with a nice full color j-card. This is self-released.  But here is a link to there bandcamp were you can download it for FREE!
